Privacy Policy

Cron Explainer keeps privacy simple and transparent.

Overview

Cron Explainer is a frontend-only tool. There is no account system, no backend storage, and no database behind the cron expression explainer. The cron tool itself runs in the browser.

Information we do not collect

Cron expressions entered into the tool are not sent to a server by the core tool flow. We do not currently provide user accounts, saved histories, or server-side storage for your input. We do not use the cron tool to build user profiles or store your schedules in a backend.

Local preference cookies

The site uses small local preference cookies only to improve the experience in your browser. These cookies may store your last cron expression, selected timezone, and theme preference if a theme toggle is added later. We may also store a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics and advertising cookies.

Third-party services

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand general site usage such as page views, rough device or browser information, and overall traffic patterns. We use this to improve the site, not to process cron expressions on a server.

We also use Google AdSense to serve advertising on the site. AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads.

For visitors in regions where consent is required, such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are disabled by default until you make a choice.
